Relative Linking Feature

To celebrate and formalize the strong familial ties within our community, how about we introduce a "Relative Linking" feature for user profiles? Recognizing that so many of our members share connections as siblings, parents, children, or extended family, this feature would allow any laboratorian to send a dedicated relationship request to a relative already on the platform. The user could specify the exact nature of the bond (e.g., brother, father, cousin). To ensure mutual consent and privacy, the targeted member would receive a pending notification within a new "Relations" tab on their profile, where they can easily review, accept, or decline the request. Once approved, the verified familial link would be displayed on both profiles, fostering a deeper sense of community and honoring the generational legacy of laboratorians within our network.
